Neither. Elja doesn't diagnose, treat, or advise. It notices what you wrote and reflects it back, and it suggests one small action drawn from what already worked for you. If you're struggling with something serious, please talk to a professional; Elja is a practice, not a substitute for care.
An email address. That's your account. No password, no card, no profile to fill out. You'll be reflecting within a minute.
No. It works best when you do, and it's designed to fit in three minutes so that's realistic. But there are no streaks and nothing resets. Miss a day, miss a week, come back. The evidence you already have is still there.
Talk instead. Voice capture is free for everyone. Elja transcribes it and saves your exact words.
A named 30-day arc with a defined outcome. The first one, Keep One Promise, is about choosing one small commitment and keeping it for a month. Others (Confidence, Boundaries, Consistency, Beginning Again) come after, in Practice Plus.
Three things: writes a one-sentence summary of each reflection in your own phrasing, tags it with a couple of themes, and writes your Weekly Mirror. It never rewrites your words, never gives therapy-style advice, and never trains on your content. You can turn it off in one tap.
No. Not us, not other users, not advertisers (we don't have any). If you ever choose to share something with a trusted person or coach, you'll preview exactly what they see first, and you can revoke it.
Sign in on the new one with your email. Everything is there. Sign-in is passwordless, and your email is how you recover the account.
Yes. Elja runs on iPhone, Android, and in any browser, and stays in sync.
In your phone's subscription settings, through the App Store or Google Play. You keep your words, your history, and every privacy control.
In the app: Settings → Delete account. It is immediate and it deletes everything — entries, recordings, Mirrors, Proofs, capsules — from our live database, with backups purged within 30 days. You can also email contact@eljaapp.com from the address on the account.
